Tips From a Pro
- Know your system to stay informed and in control.
- If your system is not working, shut it down to avoid overheating or destruction of other components due to improper operation. This will also help keep your service visit efficient and with much faster resolution.
- Know your filter size and keep a record of the most recent filter change or cleaning.
- Keep all paperwork for future repair, warranty, or sale reference.
- Keep the area around your equipment clear. All HVAC systems have clearance requirements. A good rule of thumb is 12” minimum around the outdoor systems and 2 feet around indoor systems for safety and servicing.
- Be confident with your professional maintenance schedule. Don’t ignore a crucial part of your home for years or it will not always be ready to work under extreme conditions.
